Inspiration Point
I love Vintage!
So much of it was designed and made by independent designers,
just like us!
The quality is always amazing,
Just like ours!
and there is and endless supply of inspiration,
Just like ours will be in the future!
WOW, never thought of it that way.
We as independent designers HAVE to keep going,
or there won’t BE any vintage!
Who wants to go into a vintage store and find
one in a billion pairs of cargo pants,
or that same t-shirt that was featured in 20 colors
in the 3000 stores that existed all across America at the time!
Pretty funny but scary thought,
all the vintage stores of the future will look like the chain stores of today
hmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
Sorry for that terrifying thought.
Not gonna happen because we are here to support independent design
and help it flourish again.
Lone Star Vintage was my inspiration point today!
This magenta pencil dress
looks like it could be a MerGirl
I wish I could find this fabric!
This fabric I actually have used in my clothing line!
Not in this color, I wish I had, had this color.
I love the shape of this wrap also.
Draping fabric is my fave.
This is a great vintage mens belt.
I always find inspiration in shapes patterns and colors.
Vintage isn’t just for inspiration though,
it is to be worn and treasured and kept the way the original owner kept it
so it would last all these years.
