Oh I am so glad you interviewed Crosby. She is a true maven: smart, a good eye and a pleasure to work with. She’s mentored me in the PR arena and I love bouncing ideas off of her. I am so lucky to have her as a colleague.

I have an even better solution for knowing when the new item photos are up! Go to Sandmaiden’s store on Smashing Darling and subscribe to her!
Or any designer for that matter! In the up right corner of every store there is an icon of an envelope, click that and you can choose to receive emails whenever that designer uploads new product.
It is really cool! The item photo will be right in your email, and if you click on it, it goes right to it on smashing darling.

I love your designs and the colors! It’s like somebody went into my head and pulled out exactly what I would like to bounce around the house in, and wear sneakily under my clothes, in the exact colors I love – aqua with red *swoon* Beautiful! Please shoot me an email when the new photos are up! I’m doing some writing for a new green site on eco-fashion also – if any of the fabrics fall into that category I’d love to profile your designs. Keep in touch anyway!

Funny you should ask! We are changing the Northern Lights group (the bright knits with contrast lace) to a heavier bamboo/lycra knit that feels like cashmere, the fabric has just arrived and a photo shoot is schedualed for next week! The colors are er, just as bright…hahaha, what can I say, I like color. but for sprint we’ve toned it down… moody mauves and seafoam and a group of lemon or aqua with red contrast. I never use synthetic always natural fibres but I like colors that evoke emotion and try to use a fashion palette.
