What is personal style?
What defines beauty?
What are you passionate about?
I thought I would start off with these very thought provoking questions because they have been gnawing at me all night.
I was doing research on Teen Vogue last night and found them in one of the intern blogs.
For me, I think my personal style has a lot to to with my personality and expressing that outwardly with what I wear, and how I wear it.
My clothing line, MerGirl, very much embodies this philosophy. Most of the pieces are designed to be dressed up or down depending on the mood of the personality.
I definitely think that beauty comes from within. True lasting beauty for me starts with confidence. Confidence is what gives us the ability to be an individual and to make choices based on our own opinions. That said I don’t know if I am any closer to answering what defines beauty?
My passion is Smashing Darling, designing, draping, and sewing. I have an obsession with seams but that will be another day.
I also can’t stop thinking about how young it all begins!
But with fabulous designers designing such, dare I say, beautiful children’s clothing. It is no wonder why.
