5 Things You Need To Know To Get Through Your Day

#1. Finally! We have our first shoe sighting on Smashing Darling! Thank you SueBuTique for being the first! They are a totally fabulous pair of pristine Andrew Geller spectators from the 70’s. This is the perfect accessory to have with all of the inspired designs from the same decade we all just saw at fashion week.

#2. This one is a bonus, I love Jennine from The Coveted and rolled across this interview of her that Bobble Bee did. A very fun read, two blogs to definitely stay tuned into. p.s. if you don’t remember she bought a Naik Fur from Smashing Darling and wore it to SFFW.

#3. Get your fix of Nylon magazine and their street coverage of NYC fashion week. They also have a traveling Yard Sale that they sponsor. Very cool! Check it out it may be near you!

#4. For beauty, the word on the street is The Marilyn Brush. Don’t leave home without it. Trust me, get it, you won’t regret it.

#5. My money saving tip the day, go to the back of your closet and in some cases, your parents closets. Dig real deep, find those old NIKE sneakers from the 70’s and Wha-La! You now have the new line of Sneakers the company just launched. Sorry, I thought they were a faux pas then and I still do. Send me your stylin’ photo to prove me wrong old or new!

So that is what you need to know to get you through Wed. Sept. 12, the last day of spring 2008 NYC fashion week. Always support the Movement, Buy from independent designers.
