Spork’s Exclusive With Actress Shannyn Sossamon

“I would describe my style as ‘lazy dancer,’” actress Shannyn Sossamon admits to me on the set of her new TV show, Moonlight. This makes sense, as she is a trained dancer. But she doesn’t run around in shiny leotards and severe buns. “I need to be comfortable,” she says. “I’m a sucker for oversized sweatshirts, legwarmers, and dresses over jeans.”

Today she fits her own description in dark, skinny jeans, gold flip-flops, and a dress by Fremont. “I was given this at a photo shoot,” Shannyn says. “I like it because it is simple, but the ruffles give it a bit of drama.” “That dress is from our Fall 2006 collection,” says Jessica Loria, one-third of Fremont Apparel. “It stems from a very equestrian themed collection that had lots of little mini dresses with tomboy accents.”

“It is so great to see someone like Shannyn wearing [our dress],” enthuses Jessica, “because she is how we would pinpoint the ideal Fremont girl. Someone who is smart, independent and talented but with a great sense of style.”

You will have to head over to Spork to read the rest. She was so excited about landing this Exclusive interview how could we not highlight it this week!
