Birthdays! We love birthdays around here, and we are so excited to be celebrating our first!

Birthday number ONE is always a good photo-op, sitting in the high chair eating cake with your hands and making a total mess – FUN! Sigh, why must we grow up? Since the Darling’s can’t all be together to celebrate this way, we are all going to put on our Birthday SMASH UP tees and go check out the total lunar eclipse which just so happens to be on the same day – that has to be good luck, right? (Trish being pulled down to the beach by her pup and hubby, Julie with a Texan Lime Crush in hand, and the part-time darling happily flying across the country!) We love the Smashing Darling smoke from the candle, and the almost hidden bar code…it is just a darling of a cupcake! You might remember Andrew (a.k.a Bond to some) from SMASH UP V a few months back.There he is down at the bottom of the page – in action – printing at Peregrine Press, up in lovely Portland, Maine. Andrew a self-described James Bond geek, also obsessed with Filipino stick-fighting, had to get in touch with his inner darling to come up with his design…but we do sense a bit of a smoking gun in that candle, so maybe he didn’t have to much of a problem. Anyway, Bond would really like us Darling’s…
