How do you wear your indie?

Here, Juliedarling is wearing a custom necklace designed by Catabella. Don’t know if you can read it but it says,’Original Darling’. The MerGirl stretch lace top with open neckline is perfect for showing it off.

How do you wear your indie fashion? What do you pair it with? I would love to hear. Email me trish(at)smashingdarling(dot)com.

I just wrote up a little email for you on this topic. In a nutshell — Simple is best to show off an indie creation. There is often such intricate craftsmanship that goes into the item that it can get lost in an outfit. I believe strongly in keeping artisan goods in everyday life & even started a website on that premise to help promote a select group of indie artists.

One of my favotires … I wore a black sundress with this purse —>

It really made the purse stand out and I got allot of compliments.

Oh come on ladies! I can’t help it, was trying to exude all the sexy that your necklace and shirt give off … it’s really your fault if it’s too sassy. I’m just the model. :)

ps. Thanks Brooke! Can’t wait to see you in Let Your Indie out next week.
