Karelle Levy, designer for KRELwear, designs some pretty incredible knitwear. Her one of a kind pieces always make me a tad jealous and make me pine for the days when I will be able to design full time again. My favorite pieces are where she uses the technique of strategically placing un-knit bits and tentacles of extra yarn dripping off the garments. They are very modern and sea urchin-like to me. She inspires me. Meeting her in person only confirmed what I already knew, she is the real deal. How many designers do you know that can design pieces of clothing right on a wearer’s body?
