This is one of the shows I was able to attend last week during New Your Fashion Week with Modarling, and I thought it was awesome. Lara Miller’s eco-friendly knit collection was feminine and very versatile. I especially loved the pieces she designed with a more open knit stitch. It gives the garments a bit of a chain maille look that is so sexy. I also loved the ethereal quality in the garments made from sheer woven fabric (possibly organic cotton voile or batiste but not sure could have also been silk). This whole collection is light and airy … perfect for spring/summer ‘10. You can read a bit about Lara Miller here.
