I recently received our latest MNFashion Newsletter giving us the lowdown about what’s coming for MNFashion Fashion Week Spring ‘10. I love this, they are currently taking applications for people who want to volunteer to be a part of the production team. Interviews will be held on Jan. 23rd for the sewing co-op. Each volunteer chosen will be match up with a specific designer and will work with that designer Feb. – show date April 16th. They are looking for more than just sewers. They need pattern makers, pattern grader, knitter for knitting machine … the list goes on. Click here for more details about the sewing co-op.
There was also a bit in the newsletter promoting Insight, the senior fashion show at the university of Minnesota. 14 seniors will show their final work on Feb. 6, 2010. If you are in the area and would like to attend you can purchase tickets here. The University of Minnesota is also taking applications for sponsorship of the event, donations are welcome too. Also contact them if you would like to donate items for the goodie bags.
