		<description>Megan, so true that as designers with small businesses being able to give product as a thank you for being featured is a wonderful personal way of connecting further with a blogger and a great way to build up a meaningful relationship. I think the issue that comes into question ethically speaking is, if a blogger that received product then wrote a feature about that product. The issue is being honest and transparent as a blogger. I think the panel was stating getting gifts and perks are great and a fashion industry standard, but it is important to let readers know if a particular post or feature is the result of receiving a perk or gift.</description>

		<description>I am grateful when a blogger likes my designs and excepts one of my products as a thank you. I am an independent designer with very little capital. I feel giving one of my purses is far more valuable and personal than the little money I can afford to pay for advertising. I find this is why a lot of the smaller blogs are so fresh. They are a voice for the little companies and I hope this dynamic doesn&#039;t change.
