Recycled Denim Wrist Cuff
by
Lori Lynn Designs
This upcycled denim wrist cuff was created using the bottom band from a denim jacket, adding red and white polka dot ribbon and vintage lace. The cuff is 2″ wide and will fit a wrist up to 8 1/2″. It can be enlarged or shortened about 1″. If you need the size adjusted the designer is happy to do that. One of the perks of buying independent fashion, designers are usually happy to adjust things to fit.

Twine Pendent Earrings in Steel Medium
Two recycled steel intaglio pendants, inspired by a simple ball of twine, are hung from sterling silver ear wires. Fibrous and organic, twine represents the ties in life that bind us together with ease and a sense of belonging; these strings that we choose to connect to each other. These pendants stand out beautifully combined with a heavy cable knit cardigan, or hanging above a simple V-neck tee. Pendant is 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Ear wires measure 3/4 inches in length. Designed by independent jewelry designer, Joy O for Kyler Eco Designer Jewelry. Shop the full jewelry collection here.

Bag Born: 2009
The Bag is made of Envirotech Recycled Tire Rubber Clutch with Re-Used Lion Head Drawer Pull. The designer went on the hunt for a recycled rubber product and finally found it on the internet. Andres produces all of the bags himself and says that this recycled rubber is difficult to work with so there is a lot of hand finishing on each bag. We love his design philosophy of ‘less is more’. How appropriate for the winner of the Best Green Bag Award.
