The Boutiques at Bowery Bazaar is an assembly of 36 hip new designers and artisans displaying clothing, home goods, rare trinkets, vintage and new jewelry, handmade chocolate, hats, scarves, delectable baked goods and much, much more.

A sensory experience of sorts, customers are invited to taste the gourmet cupcakes, lather with lovely homemade soaps and adorn with jewels and antiques galore. With so many unique items under one roof, the venue offers a variety of diverse presentation stations, designed to best suit the brand, budget and needs of each of its individual vendors. From freestanding tables and alcove cabanas to glass display counters and window showcases, no two spaces are fashioned quite the same.

Just steps from stylish Bowery Hotel, the Boutiques at Bowery Bazaar aims to bring a sense of authenticity back to a part of Manhattan that’s been transformed from central throughway, to a gritty nabe, and back again. A community collaboration, the boutique marketplace is ever seeking new talent, with show-spaces to accommodate all budgets. Contact Bowery Bazaar for more information.

Bazaar Bizarre SF

by trish on November 11, 2009

New People Artist Village Banner

We see a couple darling designers will be showing at The Bazaar Bizarre in SF, Sat. Nov. 21, 2009. Go check out fiftyseven-thirtythree and Go Robot in person. Tell them Trish and Mo say hi! Wish we could be there. We see lots of other great designers in the list as well! Looks like a great place to do a little shopping for the holidays. The bonus, all locally made products from good ol’ American designers.

Fiftyseven-Thirtythree
We make all our gear in East Oakland using water based, solvent free inks. No sweatshops, art directors, consultants, or teleconferencing are used in the production process. We hope our clothing makes you look good, feel good, gets you laid, whatever makes you happy. Made in the City of Oakland

GoRobot

Go Robot!
Go Robot! is the creation of Stuart Breidenstein, an Oregon-based techno producer-turned jewelry designer. Stuart uses combinations of materials, from the precious to the discarded, to create one-off and low-production jewelry and odd home accessories. With the help of his robot pals, he churns out funky stuff until the wee hours in his backyard laboratory/music studio.
