This week independent designer Gwen Beloti delivers fashion for social action into her boutique at Smashing Darling. The dress, below, was designed specifically for the Design the Dream philanthropic collaboration and is available for pre-order exclusively online here at Smashing Darling! The dress will also debut live in Gwen Beloti’s spring 2012 collection during New Jersey Fashion Week Oct 9th-13th.

Amanda Seales is featured in an exclusive DTD piece created by Gwen Beloti, a free flowing cocktail dress with sequin trimming and checkered strap back detail. The DTD dress is now available for purchase at Smashing Darling and select boutiques in NYC. A portion of the proceeds will benefit two organizations near and dear to the creators’ hearts; Little Dresses for Africa and Adonai Partners. Both Gwen and Eboyné are passionate beyond measure about this collaboration and project. In keeping with the goal of DTD, these two women want to do their part in helping those in need. Mid-summer stretch Darlings! What’s happening? Getting ready for fall? Selling out at many a summer market?…all of the above? New Features
We definitely think it is important to take a break to relax and regroup every now and again. Now it’s easier to let your customers know you are away. Log into your Darling account and you’ll see a new tab where you can set your vacation mode when you decide to dissappear: easy-peasy!
Ready to clear out some inventory? Now shoppers can see the dollars they will save when shopping in the Sale tab of your boutique. Both the original price and the sale price will be listed. Go re-list your sale items for the new feature to kick in!
