Two Peas in a Pod Necklace

Who’s the sweetest pea in the pod? We won’t tell if you don’t! But I do know that you will feel sweet as can be wearing or gifting this necklace with hand wrapped pendant shaped into a pea pod.

Two (2) green quartz beads beads lay snuggly together as peas in a pod. The pendant hangs from a delicate sterling silver 18 inch chain.

A great necklace for anytime wear. A great gift for a best friend or sister(because you are like two peas in a pod!), a mom, or just a sweet pea person.

– These beads are in limited supply, so these will only be available for a limited time –

Beautiful pendent designed by Lucky Accessories, shop the full collection here. See more Smashing Darling featured items here.

We Love the this project.

Not only does it support the idea of sustainable fashion, the year long project is also fundraiser for Akanksha’s School Project. The Project is a grassroots effort to raise money for children that grow up in the slums of India.

We also love that the dress chose to be worn everyday by Sheena Matheiken was designed by a friend of hers. Everyday Sheena will change the look and give it new style by changing the accessories. Check out the video we found of Sheena talking about the project with Daily Candy.

Post by Jean Voute Pratt of Style Observer

Remember the days when you were a child, walking down the boardwalk, licking an ice cream cone, and being entertained by games like kick the can and hopscotch? It was a time when businesses were owned by locals, and the quality of the product was a reflection of pride in ownership. Now, during a time of mass produced merchandise, we find a bit of old fashioned authenticity in a local artist. Steven Dana is an artist with a real appreciation for quality, and embraces the world of American charm. He seems to understand that there is something magical about childhood, and the importance of nurturing the artistic side of our children. Steven has taken his artistic ability to the TEES. He has designed a line of t-shirts for children that are whimsical, and have distinct youthful charm. They are intriguing, and bring forth thoughts of childhood imagination. As a mother of boys, this is exactly the type of t-shirt I want my boys to represent. I’m hoping it will balance out the video games and light saber battles. I want them to take a minute to paint a little pottery, savor some unbelievable taffy, and just breath. Let the little ones be fashionable in an “indie” way, visit www.patritot.com.
