Around the Site

Every month there are new designers and new shoppers joining the site – welcome! But this month our new friend on Smashing Darling is PayPal. Not only does PayPal give customers another payment option, it also makes it easier for us to send that payment to you.
Not to fear, there are no added fees with this new addition. But if you already have a PayPal account, please make sure that the email address in your Smashing Darling account is the email you use for your PayPal account.

Darling Holiday Events

The holiday craze is just around the corner…if not already happening wherever you are. Multi-tasking indie designers just don’t stop! Fill us in on any holiday events coming up, the Darlings just may have some fun giveaways to add to your event. Pop us an email, comment on the blog, or add post your Darling event right on the Smashing Darling Facebook Fan Page.

Have you heard? A Fashion Incubator coming soon to NYC, check it out….We spotted a few darlings in The Fashion Journal that is Darlings Samoy Lenko and House of Versatile Styles, lovely!….Get to know your fellow Darlings in these great interviews: One with fiftyseven-thirtythree in Hyphen Mag and another of Kaytee Papusza in regards to her latest photo shoot. The KRELwear team will be in NYC this weekend if you are nearby for some quickie couture….and Darlings, if you have the time, do go see Coco Before Chanel and be inspired.

We like to have options. We figure you do too. We are very happy to let you know that you now have the option to pay with PayPal when shopping on Smashing Darling! To learn more about PayPal, click here. This also brings us one step closer to opening up our community to international shoppers and designers. We don’t want to tease you…but, we have a long list of designers who can’t wait!

The holidays are sneaking right up on us again. Gifts to buy, parties to look smashing at…there is plenty of sparkle to be found right here on the site. Not to mention your purchase supports an independent designer, those little touches make a BIG difference. Take a look at the lovely delivery of this recent Darling purchase.

Do you know you can change the amount charged for shipping items to your customers? Just sign in and go into your account:

Click [store name on the left] > Click > Boutique Policies[on the right], then scroll down until you see shipping options.

Smashing Darling has suggested amounts already filled into the fields, but feel free to change those amounts to what you need to charge for shipping your items.
