Answers you need to shop on Smashing Darling.

What is the Return Policy?

Because each individual designer is responsible for their own store we offer 2 options for returns. The options are: 21 Day Return option and No Returns Accepted. When designers create their boutique with Smashing Darling they choose one of these options. The return policy is listed on every item page under the Add To Cart Button. 

How do I make a return?

First Log in. CLICK > Your Account (in the up right corner), CLICK > Purchases tab, CLICK > Order ID # of the Item you wish to return. Scroll down and CLICK > Return An Item From This Order. CHECK the box of the item you wish to return. Type your reason why. CLICK > Return Selected Items. Package up the item and send it back to the designer. After the designer has recieves the returned item, the designer approves the return and your credit card will be credited. Please email the designer if there is a confirmation or a tracking # on the returning package. You will be creditied only for the price of the returned item, not the cost of shipping the item.

Do I have to sign up to make a purchase?

No. Smashing Darling offers users without an account the option to check out as a guest. 

Can I contact a designer directly if I have a question about a product?

Yes. Log into Smashing Darling, click on the designer store you would like to contact. Click the Contact button on the right side of the page in the boutique.

When will my item arrive after a purchase?

We do require our sellers to ship items out within 2 days unless they specify in their policies that it will take longer. To find a designers policies, go to their store and look in the up right corner of the store under the link to their profile.

How does buying on Smashing Darling work?

Choose the size and quantity of the item you wish to purchase and CLICK > ADD TO SHOPPING BAG. You will be taken to a page that will show you the contents of your shopping bag. You can choose to continue shopping or check out. At check out, users have the option to pay with a credit card through our payment gateway using Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Discover or pay using PayPal. Choose your shipping option and finalize your order.

How does the shopping cart work?

As you shop around and find items that you simply must have, add them to your shopping bag. Note: items in your bag are not removed from the site or reserved for you, until you complete the checkout process. The majority of items on Smashing Darling are one-of-a-kind and thus tend to sell out quickly, so it's a bit risky to leave items in your shopping bag for too long. Once you've got everything you want, proceed to check out.

Why is my credit card getting declined?

Ensure the following:
• You are using a credit card or debit with credit card logo on it
• You are entering the correct CCV number. This number is the last group of numbers on the back of your card. It is a 3 digit # for MC/Visa and 4 digit # for Amex.
• If you entered the wrong CC number and clicked submit, you will have to wait one minute before re-entering the correct CC number

What if my item didn't arrive?
