This design was inspired by Edie Sedgwick and her childhood home that I spent the summer living in. After seeing an exhibit of early Andy Warhol creations (the man who made her the icon she was through his movies in NYC), I became fascinated with a technique he used of first applying ink to a non-porous surface and then transferring that print to a surface that would accept the ink. The result is a washed-out look, and each piece is unique.
