A sweet face of an angel... Botticelli-esque...An extremely limited edition treasure, just for you.
As far back as I can remember, in my childhood, my parents would take me to Stamford Housewrecking (now United Housewrecking, I believe) to go on a treasure hunt. Sometimes we'd strike gold and spot a hidden treasure underneath a pile of house parts- glowing, almost beckoning us to rescue it. This face, this necklace, reminds me of the treasures found and that magic feeling.
Vintage glass in a beautiful frosted finish with a slight aurora borealis finish (not rainbow-y or oil-slicky, very subtle)...
Set in a handmade bezel of sterling silver...The silver is blackened, then brushed and sanded for delicious contrast between industrial background to the ethereal face.
The chain is sterling silver and the clasp is a lobster clasp (sterling as well)...
The necklace measures around 18.5" in overall length. The width of the sterling silver disc is around 1".
