Tired of feeling like a social outcast?
If you answered "no" to that question, you probably need this pair of beautiful, authentic one-of -a-kind, handcrafted goggles. These are NOT the standard "modified welding goggles" so many designers are offering, but truly handmade in every respect. The barrels are fabricated and hand-forged from 20 gauge brass sheet, with brass mesh side vents. The 2-inch lenses are cut from 1/8 inch acrylic sheet and are available in your choice of several colors (listed below.) The padding, straps and nosepiece are all crafted of reclaimed leather from a local upholsterer's shop. Rubber o-rings provide slight elasticity in the strap for comfort during prolonged use. The buckle is hand-made of solid brass, and all other connectors are brass, copper, or stainless steel. Miniature bolts and nuts finish the piece and give these handsome goggles a very industrial look.
So whether you're motoring through the desert, unicycling through a sand storm on a dry lake bed, walking down the runway, or adjusting the Corliss valve on your steam generator, you'll look smashing in this most exquisite of eye protection. The only way they would look any cooler would be if they were covered with a fine layer of dust. But we'll ship them clean,
and leave that part up to you.
Acrylic lenses are available in the following tints: dark green, dark red, dark grey, light grey, or clear*.
*Lenses available in super durable polycarbonate, clear only.
