Colors from my imagination
calling up thoughts of lands in the East.
Rich colors of the forest, the mountains, the sun.
Rich colors abound in this set of two necklaces. Colors that to me speak of faraway places rich in old tradtions.
The necklaces can be worn together for the most dramatic look or each is capable of standing on its own.
The first necklace has a focal drop that is truly magnificent. Its focal is a 30.34ctw Madeira Citrine faceted teardrop in a stunning deep burnt orange color; it just glows in the light. It is topped by a cluster of smooth 8mm Grossular Green Garnet pears in shades of green from forest to kiwi, 4mm faceted Madeira Citrine teardrops and then a collection of fully faceted Songia and Padparadscha Sapphires ranging from 3mm to 5mm all on 24kt gold vermeil headpins.
From greens, to deep oranges to yellows...the yellows continue with faceted Golden Citrine 9mm marquise which are topped by a step faceted Citrine oval. The hand linked chain has rich 20mm Whiskey Quartz nuggets, more of the step faceted Citrine Ovals, 8mm faceted Grossular Green Garnet rounds and ovals. It measures 29 1/2" and closes with a gold fill lobster claw clasp. The extension is decorated with a citrine,garnet and madeira citrine briolette. The drop falls 3".
The second necklace is hand linked step faceted Citrines, Grossular Green Garnet rounds and ovals using gold filled wire. It has a small drop of one lovely 7mm Grossular Green Garnet kiss. It measures 26" and also closes with a gold fill lobster claw clasp. The extension is decorated with a step faceted garnet.
Both pieces are accented with gold fill rounds and the first necklace has 24kt gold vermeil spacers.
