This Art Nouveau inspired pendant is so elegant!
Hand created entirely from sterling silver wire of varying shapes and sizes, this pendant can be described as elegant, sophisticated, but most importantly--unique! The leaves and vine are all hand formed and soldered onto a background of 5mm X 2mm sterling silver rectangular wire. It is then given a bail attached by a jump ring for some extra movement. The pendant measures nearly 2 1/2" (63mm)! The entire piece is oxidized to give it a black patina and then the leaves and vine are high polished for contrast. The "black silver" is then fired with a clear enamel coating to protect the finish. The pendant hangs from a 16" black satin ribbon with large sterling silver lobster clasp and 2" extender to take it to 18".
