One lovely necklace.
Turquoise is a marvel. It comes in so many forms; from so many mines. this necklace showcases Turquoise from two of the most famous. First you notice the bright, baby blue of the faceted 8mm Sleeping Beauty Turquoise rounds. That color is hard to miss. The subtle green shades of the step faceted Kingman mine nuggets (8mm - 14mm) are not as vibrant but they are just as beautiful. Together the colors just sing!
The Turquoise is so beautiful I didn't want any embellishments to draw the eye away from it so I simply used sterling silver saucers for a modern feel to the piece. I continued that feeling by designing the necklace asymmetrically.
This one of a kind beauty - a meeting of two mines - measures 18 1/2". It closes with a Hill Tribe Sterling toggle clasp.
