the news about bisphenol-A or bpa is disheartening. the problem with bpa is that it is an estrogen mimic. estrogen mimics can contribute to breast cancer, reproductive issues in males and females, etc. it seems the information we really need is never mentioned: cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts) protect us against these ubiquitous estrogen mimics.
