italian linen ring sling

This material is gorgeous and lends itself perfectly to the ring sling. The fabric is light and breathable and the pattern flows beautifully to create a beautiful and luxurious sling tail. It comes from an italian designer and looks for all the world to be hand dyed and batiked. It is a fine luxury fabric even as nice linen goes. It is the strongest of the vegetable fibers and has 2 to 3 times the strength of cotton. Not only is the linen fiber strong, it is smooth, making the finished fabric lint free.
This sling has been constructed using slate colored SlingRing brand aluminum rings. These rings are made specifically for use in baby carriers and are designed to be lightweight and free of welds. They are strength tested smoothed and made of only the strongest materials. The rings are batch tested to ensure strength and non-toxicity.
The sling is 73" long and 28" wide making it large or small enough for most builds of babywearers. The sling is many times reinforced and designed for maximum comfort. The pleats attached to the ring end are sewn in a fan arrangement and the top pleat is left unstitched in order to allow for wider weight distribution. This is a comfortable sling. If you would like a longer or shorter sling (perhaps you are of a large or small build and/or prefer a longer or shorter tail), we will make you one to order.
