There is a hidden lake in Oregon, Lost Lake. Near Mount Hood, Lost Lake isn't really lost but sits peacefully among the woods of the Cascade Range, reflecting the rugged, snowclad mountain and skies above.
The labradorite's great flash reminds me of spring in the Pacific Northwest, where it might be sunny for an hour, and then in the next, rain-laden clouds are moving in. The faceted aquamarine nugget is a perfect match to that briefly-sunny sky. An ebony wood pendant balances this asymmetrical necklace.
