Shades - Ametrine Earrings on Gold Fill Hooks

Ametrine is such a delightfully mysterious gemstone; purple? Yellow? A bit of both? Do I see brown? It all depends on the light and background....such fun!
For these one of a kind earrings I have used checkerboard faceted ovals in two sizes 14mm and 12mm. To showcase the beauty of the stones they are simply embraced by 22kt gold vermeil spacers. A 22kt gold vermeil twist bead tops them.
These delightful earrings hang about 1 5/8" from their gold fill hooks.
