Sumi-E means "black ink painting" and refers to the traditional form of Chinese brush painting.

This lovely pendant features hand drawn and hand cut floral designs in 14K white gold sheet soldered onto sterling silver which is then patinaed to give it that black color. I then fire a clear enamel coating over top of the black silver to protect the finish. It is set with a .02ct SI2 white diamond in a 14K white gold 4 prong setting.
