The Thymes Pendant

This sophisticated pendant is both elegant and unique!
Hand drawn, the vine motif is hand cut from sterling silver sheet metal. It is then soldered to a 1" by 1" (25mm x 25mm) sqare sterling silver back plate. Two small hidden bails are added to the back and then the entire piece is patinaed (or oxidized) to bring out the detail. The front of the pendant is high polished by hand for contrast. All of my "black silver" is fired with a clear enamel coating to protect the finish. The pendant hangs from a seven strand black steel neckwire with bayonet clasp.
