Thunderhead - Necklace

Lightning is beautiful, but dangerous. This necklace is still beautiful, but far less hazardous to your health.
Sterling silver wire is soldered together to create the shape of a thundercloud with a lightning bolt striking down. The cloud has been given a dimpled hammer finish to recreate the fluffy cloud texture, while the lightening bolt has been hammered smooth and flat for contrast.
Aquamarine chips and freshwater pearls have been wire wrapped in place to connect the pendant to the chain, adding a gentle touch of color to this striking necklace. The clasp is handmade from sterling silver and the chain is sterling silver as well.
This necklace is available in a bright (pictured), semi-matte, or oxidized finish.
The pendant is approx. 2.5 inches from the top of the cloud to the bottom of the tornado, or 6 cm. The chain is approx. 20 inches in length including the aquamarine sections or approx. 50 cm. but it can be adjusted if requested.
Because the curves and fluff of each cloud is hand-formed, each necklace will be unique from the last.
Your Thunderhead will be shipped ready for gift-giving in a translucent pillow box with colorful tissue paper and ribbon.
