Water Lily Necklace

This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of art! It was featured in the Phil London National Metals and Jewelry Exhibition in St. Petersburg from November 7th through December 5th 2008.
The layers of the lotus blossom were all hand cut and hand formed and then soldered together to form a 1 5/8" (40mm) flower. The blossom was then set with a genuine 10mm Tahitian pearl of the highest quality. The pendant is removable and can be worn on a different chain. It features a large handmade hidden bail.
The links in the necklace are all hand carved and cast in sterling silver. Each one measures 1 1/4" (32mm) long and 1/4" (6mm) wide. They have then been hand sanded and polished. There is a black patina on the back of each to compliment the oxidized jump rings holding them together. It is all finished off with a large and secure sterling silver lobster clasp and 2" extender to take it from 16" to 18".
