About Me
Hi, my name is Janet and I design and make jewelry. I have been making jewelry for about 13 years and this has been a wonderful journey and learning experience. I do basic bead stringing, Precious Metal Clay (PMC), wire sculpture, wire knitting (Viking Knit) and my latest passion, Fused Glass.
I taught myself how to do fused glass this past winter and fell in love with this creative form. I love the whole process, how every piece is different and you never know what you will get when the glass cools.
I also teach jewelry-making and my students have all left my class happy and with a new jewelry item that they made.
I hope you enjoy my jewelry designs. Some are one of a kind and others are everyday classics. Thanks for looking
Who or what inspires you?
I am inspired by so many things, but mostly by my surroundings.
What is your favorite music?
I love the "golden oldies". I think I have over 700 cds starting from 1948 when I was born, to the present. I focus on the 1960's, you know Motown, Philly sound.
