Ensō

Designer Profile

About Me

Ensō is a meeting of ancient and antique bead weaving techniques and stitches with the cool aesthetics of modernism. Utilizing sterling silver, gold fill, high quality plated glass and metal beads, and lovely semiprecious gems and pearls, beaded jewelry takes a pared-down and elegant direction.

Ivey Brassil studied sculpture, installation, video, painting, photography - possibly everything other than metalsmithing and fiber art. She brings her interest in minimalism, repetition, color, and utilizing pre-fabricated forms in collage arrangement  to jewelry making. She focuses here on art jewelry with a modernist sensibility and an eye toward wearability.
