hello, fabulous: the designer

after many years as a vintage collector, kimberly hendrix decided to move her passion for one of a kind couture clothing forward and began not only collecting and reworking vintage pieces, but creating completely original designs while still working with recycled materials. in january 2008 the dedicated line "hello, fabulous by k. hendrix" which features hand beading, raw edges and high end materials, was developed and immediately began appearing on fashion forward celebrities like courtney love and juliet lewis and also in fashion spreads for ocean, glitterati, la direct and blackbook. after co-designing a fall 2008 swimwear/lingerie line for famed knit swimwear designer ashley paige and appearing on "bikini or bust", ashley's reality series premiering july 11th on tlc, kimberly moved east to focus on her new line.

kimberly is currently residing in florida and new york respectfully. finding inspiration on the beautiful sandy beaches of the south and in the colorful culture of the city up north.

this spring 2009, hello, fabulous by k. hendrix will present the first full couture collection featuring one-of-a-kind luxury resort and lingerie pieces.  each item will be handmade and feature top of the line silks and linens with intricate beading and raw edges. as always, all items will be created using recycled and vintage materials.
