Aritist Statement: I have always been fascinated by the visual changes objects undergo during the process of aging or decomposition. In my work, I am interested in exploring the relationship between organic and industrial objects, and the contrast between clean simple surfaces and heavily textured surfaces. I often incorporate various found objects and materials in my work in an effort to give a newly created object a sense of history.
