I've been making jewelry since I was a teenager, and knitting since my mid twenties. Combining the 2 artforms has energized my creativity, and I hope you will enjoy my handknit sterling silver pieces as much as I've enjoyed creating them.
Along with my knit sterling pieces, Pearl by the Sea will feature wire wrapped bracelets, and elegant beaded pieces
Who or what inspires you?
Beautifully sunny days, trees that are hundreds of years old, every season in Amherst, Massachusetts (my adopted hometown). The artistic influences which are all over my city (Washington, DC)
What is your favorite music?
Indigo girls, Tori Amos, John Coltraine, 70s Stevie Wonder, Classical music (string quartets, flute solos, classical piano----I am even beginning to get into opera!)
What is your favorite food?
Mexican ( I LOVE guacamole) savory foods instead of sweet. A good strong cup of black coffee may just be my favorite drink in the whole wide world.
