Throughout this year, 2011, I will offer a limited edition line of less than 100 handbags and totes. Each piece will be numbered and dated, providing you with a true, one of a kind signature piece.
My interest in wool and natural fiber products originates from my love and appreciation of the sheep I have raised since a young child. I have always had access to superior wool and fiber materials. Educated as a graphic artist I have taken my art discipline to a different level and create 100% wool handbags, scarves and accessories. Each piece begins as an original design utilizing layered needle and wet felt wool combined with color, beads and natural elements. Styles may be repeated due to popularity, but I strive to keep each piece one of a kind. I am forever inspired by nature, time spent on the coast of Maine and memories of my childhood in the scenic Litchfield hills.
The Icelandic wool totes of all sizes are pieces of art; as unique and stylish as the owner who carries one, yet amazingly durable and functional. Wear them on the weekend with a sweater and jeans or make that everyday look a lot less ordinary. You'll find the 100% Merino scarves soft and comfortable, a perfect accent to your favorite jean jacket from Autumn to Spring. Or keep warm and look great on the coldest of Winter days! Funky, nature inspired jewelry pieces with a wool element round out the collection.
